1. Nature of digital assets
Cryptocurrencies and digital tokens are not legal tender in most jurisdictions. They are not backed by any government, central bank, or physical commodity. The value of any digital asset, including INKY, depends entirely on market supply and demand and may reach zero.
2. Price volatility
Digital asset prices can fluctuate significantly within short periods due to market sentiment, exchange listings, regulatory announcements, macroeconomic conditions, or technical events. Users may lose part or all of their invested capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results.
3. Staking and yield
The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) displayed in the Inkryptus application is an informational projection based on the current daily yield. It is not a guarantee of future returns. Factors that affect realized yield include total staked volume across the platform, changes to emission parameters in the staking contract, market price of the rewarded asset, and regulatory or operational changes affecting product availability.
Only rewards that have been claimed (harvested) constitute effective return. A 25% performance fee applies to staking profits at the time of harvest.
4. Custodial model
Inkryptus operates a simplified custody model. Each account gets its own address on-chain, generated at account creation, and the authority to move its balance rests with the platform's multisig rather than with a private key or a seed phrase held by the user. Inkryptus abstracts that complexity so the user never has to handle keys. The risk that follows is real: account security, fund availability, and asset recovery depend on the continued operation and integrity of the platform, and while Inkryptus employs multisig wallet architecture and layered security controls, no custody arrangement is immune to all risks.
For details on the security model, see Security & Verification.
5. Smart contract risk
Platform operations (staking, token transfers) rely on smart contracts deployed on BNB Smart Chain. All contracts are public and verifiable on BscScan, but no formal third-party audit by a recognized firm has been completed to date. Undiscovered bugs, logical errors, or vulnerabilities in contract code may result in loss of funds. Users should review contract code and third-party scanner results before committing significant capital.
For contract addresses and scanner results, see Contracts and Security.
6. Blockchain and network risk
All transactions on BNB Smart Chain are irreversible once confirmed. Sending assets to the wrong address, on the wrong network, or to an incompatible contract may result in permanent loss. Inkryptus cannot reverse on-chain transactions. Network congestion, validator issues, or chain-level incidents on BNB Smart Chain may affect transaction processing and platform availability.
7. Liquidity risk
INKY maintains liquidity on PancakeSwap (v2 and v3) in the INKY/USDT pair. Liquidity depth is variable and depends on liquidity providers. Large trades relative to pool depth may experience slippage. There is no guarantee that liquidity will be maintained at any specific level.
8. Regulatory and tax considerations
Cryptocurrency regulation varies by jurisdiction and is evolving rapidly. Changes in applicable law may restrict platform access, require operational changes, or affect the classification and value of digital assets. Users are responsible for understanding and complying with all tax obligations, reporting requirements, and legal restrictions applicable in their jurisdiction. Inkryptus does not provide tax or legal advice and does not withhold taxes on behalf of users.
9. Jurisdictional availability
Inkryptus operates on public blockchain infrastructure. Availability and legality of the platform and its products depend on the laws and regulations of each user's jurisdiction. It is the user's responsibility to verify that their use of the platform complies with local law before engaging with any product or service.
10. No guarantees
Inkryptus makes no guarantees regarding the availability, continuity, or performance of the platform, its products, or any digital asset. The platform, its software, and all related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inkryptus shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of profits, loss of data, or interruption of service.
12. Independent due diligence
Before using any Inkryptus product, users should conduct their own independent research, assess their risk tolerance, and consult with qualified financial, legal, and tax advisors. Reliance on any information provided by the platform, its documentation, or its team members is at the user's own risk.
