Inkryptus V2.0 introduces three major changes: optional KYC verification with tiered withdrawal limits, the ability to buy USDT directly with your local currency through Simplex, and a fully rebuilt app interface. If you're an existing user, nothing has been removed, this update adds on top of what's already there.
What are the new KYC tiers on Inkryptus?
Inkryptus V2.0 introduces two account levels with different withdrawal limits. Bronze requires no KYC verification and allows withdrawals of up to US$500 per month. Silver requires a short KYC verification process and raises the monthly withdrawal limit to US$500,000.
Both limits reset on the first day of each month at 00:00:01 UTC. KYC for Silver accounts takes a few minutes to complete inside the app. Users who don't need higher withdrawal limits can stay on Bronze with no action required.

How does the new FIAT on-ramp work?
Inkryptus V2.0 adds a dedicated "Buy" screen inside the app that lets users purchase USDT using their local currency. The on-ramp is powered by Simplex, a licensed payment processing partner.
To use it, you select your country, currency, and payment method. The options include credit card, bank transfer, and local payment alternatives depending on your region. USDT is credited to your Inkryptus wallet immediately after the transaction is confirmed.
This screen is separate from the existing Buy/Sell screen. The "Buy" screen is for converting local currency into crypto. The "Buy/Sell" screen is for exchanging between crypto assets already in your Inkryptus wallet.
What changed in the app interface?
The full app interface has been rebuilt in V2.0. Navigation has been simplified, and the wallet view now shows all your holdings in a single screen without additional taps. Asset detail pages, transaction history, and staking information have been reorganized to reduce the steps needed to find key information.
The update also improves app performance: load times are faster and navigation is more responsive than in V1.
Why did V2.0 focus on these three changes?
The three changes in V2.0 address the main barriers that first-time users in East Africa hit when starting with crypto. Users who don't yet hold crypto need a way to acquire USDT without leaving the app, the Simplex on-ramp solves this. Users who are cautious about identity verification can now start on Bronze with no KYC and upgrade to Silver when they need higher withdrawal limits.
