Africa Blockchain Festival brings the people building the continent’s digital economy into one room: founders, developers, investors, banks, mobile money operators and the regulators writing the rules. After a first edition in Kigali, it moves to Nairobi for 2026, and this year it carries our name.

Travelling to Nairobi

Entry to Kenya
Citizens of East African Community countries, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda among them, need no eTA. Most other visitors apply for one online, for $30, 7 to 10 days before travelling.
Flights
Kenya Airways is the festival’s airline partner. The code ABF26KE takes 12% off flights within Africa for travel from 8 to 24 October.
Where to stay
The partner hotel is Park Inn by Radisson Westlands, with up to 30% off. Westlands is the district the venue is in.
Getting around
The airport is 30 to 60 minutes from the venue depending on traffic. Book rides through Uber or Bolt.
Why we’ll be there
Inkryptus is a crypto app built for people who are not already inside: one account, one wallet, no seed phrase to keep. We started in 2020, and most of the people using the app today are in East Africa. Sponsoring the continent’s blockchain festival is how we meet them in person.
