Account & Security

Common questions about creating your account, signing in, KYC verification, and keeping your account secure.

How do I create an account?

Download the official app, tap Create Account / Sign Up, fill in the requested information (including referral code, if you have one), validate the code sent by email, create your password, and accept the terms. Registration is available only for users aged 18+.

If you do not enter a referral code during sign-up, you have up to 30 days to add a Sponsor in Profile > Account > Sponsor. After this period, no Sponsor can be added.

Step by step: Create an account, with the six screens the app shows.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

On the login screen, use Forgot Password, enter your registered email, and follow the instructions sent. This flow also helps identify your username.

If needed, contact support with your account name, registered email, details, and a screenshot of the issue.

Step by step: Reset password.

How do I complete KYC (identity verification)?

After login, tap the profile icon, go to Security, then Identity Verification. Submit a valid document and a clear selfie for validation. To speed up approval, use good lighting and readable images.

Step by step: Complete KYC.

Does the platform have security features?

Yes. The platform combines in-app validations, email verification for critical actions, and optional biometric authentication on the device (Face ID / Fingerprint), focused on simple usage and operational protection.

Turning biometrics on: Biometric authentication.

Who holds custody of my assets?

Inkryptus does, and the arrangement is worth understanding. Every wallet lives inside the platform's smart contract on BNB Smart Chain. You have your own address and can follow it on BscScan, and the contract is what executes on it, so there is no seed phrase to keep and no key to lose. The contracts are public and verifiable. See Security & Verification for how to check them yourself, and Risks for what that model does and does not protect against.

Where is my private key? Can I export it?

There is not one, and that is the design rather than something being withheld from you. Your account has its own address on BNB Smart Chain, and you can look it up on BscScan and watch every movement in and out of it. What executes on that address is the Inkryptus smart contract, not a private key sitting in a safe, so there is no key to export, display, or hand over, and support has none to retrieve.

This is where Inkryptus differs from the common web3 arrangement. There, custody means somebody is holding a key for you, and the question is whether you trust them with it. Here, what can move your balance is written in a contract anyone can read. See How Inkryptus works for the mechanics and Risks for what the model does and does not protect against.

If you want a key of your own, withdraw to a wallet you created yourself. From that moment you sign for those funds, and the responsibility for the key is yours too. Inkryptus will never ask you for a private key or a seed phrase, on any channel, and anybody who does is not us.

I do not receive the verification code by email. What should I do?

Confirm your app is up to date and check inbox/spam. If the code still does not arrive, contact support with account name, registered email, details, and a screenshot of the issue.

My KYC stayed 'under review' for too long. What is the expected timeframe?

The standard timeframe is up to 2 business days, since validation is performed by a specialized partner. If it exceeds this period, contact support with account name, email, details, and screenshot.

KYC fails or does not start after tapping 'Start Verification'. How do I fix it?

Update the app and try again. Then check connection and camera permissions. If it persists, contact support with account name, email, details, and screenshot of the issue.

How do I change account email, phone, name, or birth date?

At this time, these changes are not yet enabled in the standard flow. This functionality is part of the platform roadmap and will be available in a future update.
